It was our first time at this museum and we wound up purchasing an annual membership and we aren't even from the area. Our 18mo daughter loved it and we plan to bring our 9 year old next time as well. I highly recommend it.
Great entertaining and educational museum for kids, which includes a miniature Whole Foods store, a hospital etc. Worth to spend a day, not really sure if the yearly pass is worth if you don’t live close by. Interactive exhibits in-house and a park like facility outside keeps kids engaging. A small cafe operates in the premise. Kids loves the place.
This place has it all! An inexpensive indoor, out door learning bonanza!! My kids range from a few months to 5 years and all three enjoyed theor time. The place is clean, well run and well mapped out! A safe family friendly environment of healthy kid oriented stimulus! Way better than a movie or the mall!
Disappointing after reading all the good reviews. It's nothing more than about 12 or so sectioned off areas where toddlers can take turns handling dolls, stethoscopes, musical hammers, mini grocery baskets, peddling air socks, painting, etc. Nothing much more than they already do at home. But here they would deal with sneezing toddlers and uncorrected, pushy kids and parents in tight spaces. Kids older than 6 would be bored. We ended up walking outside to get fresh air and check out the walking paths, but got chased back in by the staff when a very light rain started. Definitely not worth the cost of $36 for 2 adults and 1 2-year old for about 90 minutes. Can't bring in snacks. There is a small restaurant, which we didn't try.
This is a great place to bring kids from infant age up 7 or 8 years old. There are many different themed sections all throughout the museum all with engaging activities that promote wonder and learning.
